–NHB win 2 MAMA awards for best bluegrass
band and best bluegrass recording for “Live
@ Mother Fools”
-A clip of the original NHB song “I Left The Back Door Open”
is included on the DVD extras section of George Goehl’s Jimmy
Martin documentary, “King of Bluegrass”
2003
–NHB win WAMI award for bluegrass group of
the year
-3rd CD, Live at Mother Fools is released.
–NHB Write and record a jingle for Farm and Fleet. Ad spot is
played on AM radio all over the Midwest.
2002
-John Fabke has a songwriters showcase at IBMA
2001
–Second CD, Someday, Sometime, Somehow released
-Open for Tim O’Brien and the Crossing at the Stoughton Opera

-NHB make the cover of Wisconsin Academy Review
-Performance on A Prairie Home Companion
-Opening show for Ricky Skaggs in Rhinelander, WI

–NHB perform a number of festivals and concert
